- Secure entry ways & windows with quality locks/bars/gates (for gates, use locks that are cannot be cut with bolt cutters)
- Upgrade simple mailbox to one of steel that has a key lock & large enough to hold packages
- Install a video camera doorbell system
- Install a home security system
- Install yard/entryway lighting (motion sensor)
- Keep grass mowed/edged & bushes trimmed/maintained
- Post "No Tresspassing" signs
- File a "Limited Authorization for Arrest" form with the SAPD (good for 6 months)
- Keep front porch free of clutter
